Our Mission
is an independent practitioner's association whose mission is to
bring together a
variety of mental health professionals willing to practice in multidisciplinary clinics
and dedicated to providing the best mental health care available to the citizens of Arizona.
Company Profile
an Arizona corporation that was founded in 1988. It is owned and operated by
Richard Gottlieb, MD, Psy.D., a board-certified psychiatrist, psychoanalyst
and Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is the founder and Clinic
Manager of Paradise Valley Psychiatric Associates.
Dr. Gottlieb has been named one of Phoenix Magazine's "Top Docs" in 2000, 2002
and 2004 and has also been named one of the Top Doctors in America several
times - an honor bestowed by vote of his peers
- including this year (2009-2010). Dr.
Gottlieb is also a Past President of the Southwest Psychoanalytic Society, an
affiliate society of the American Psychoanalytic Association.
Professional Members are independent
solo practitioners in a variety of mental health disciplines who choose to practice in
private practice multidisciplinary mental health clinics. This allows their patients "one-stop shopping",
or the
opportunity to work with multiple solo (independent) practitioners in the same clinic.
By bringing together mental health professionals from a wide range of
backgrounds and with different technical proficiencies, PsycHealth Member Clinics offer
patients expertise in psychiatry, psychology, counseling and psychoanalysis
plus subspecialties within each of those fields. The resulting synergy simply
cannot be duplicated by individual clinicians practicing on their own. Whether
